Railway Children Africa

Railway Children help young people who end up on the streets and try where possible to re-unite them with their families and provide long term support to address the issues that led to them running away in the first place.

They also provide support to help them set up sustainable businesses to offer stability and security in the family unit.

Objectives:

To create a film which would showcase the Family Support Program in Tanzania and could be shown at the 2014 Railway Ball to help raise funds.

Process:

In October 2014 we went out to Tanzania for a week to gain a glimpse into the lives of three families that have been helped by the Railway Children through their Family Support Model.

Outcomes:

The film was premiered at the Railway Ball in the UK in November and has helped to raise over 400K in funds to continue this great work in the UK, India and East Africa.

"I would not hesitate to use Be Inspired Films in the future. Their passion, creativity, flexibility and consistency is a breath of fresh air and their understanding of the third sector makes them an ideal partner for any not-for-profit organisation"
