Awarding Pioneers of the Sustainable Energy Sector

Myself and Ravinol Chambers, founder of Be Inspired FIlms recently had a fantastic opportunity to be invited down by friend Simon Leadbetter, Publisher of Blue & Green tomorrow, to attend the New Energy & Cleantech Awards 2015! The Awards are now in their eighth year, held at the Park Plaza, Victoria London on April 29th with the awards ranging from Entrepreneur of the Year to New Energy Champion. Again with tux appropriately in play (compared to the RAR awards where we gloriously misread the dress code) we sat with Simon and the rest of his table to witness the inspiring awards night.

On the table, discussions were pro-active and humour was apt, overall everyone was here to celebrate the next Pioneers of the sustainable energy sector. Our host, Simon Leadbetter was in fact giving out the New Energy Champion of the year award. 

Overall the experience developed existing relationships and introduced some exciting new ones. Discussions sparked fires that I hope will keep burning and igniting new ventures.
